New Oilers Squirt Minor Coach

The Dallas Oilers would like to welcome Tim Madigan to the Oilers Family. Tim will be coaching the Squirt Minor team for the 2013-14 season. I'm thrilled to return to coaching with players at the beginning of their careers," Tim said. "We will teach fundamentals of the game, giving them the best chance to succeed next year and in the years go come. Oilers Join DSTHL

The Dallas Oilers are excited to announce their plans to join the Dallas Stars Travel Hockey League (DSTHL) for the 2013-14 hockey season. Oiler coaches and staff have worked hard to evaluate and determine the best direction for the Dallas Oilers players and families. In doing so, we have elected to accept the invitation extended by the DSTHL and will be submitting our application to join the league. Tryouts will be held between June 2 and June 24 as determined by TAHA and the DSTHL. Tryout times will be posted on the Dallas Oilers website as soon as they are confirmed. Dallas Oilers Join Southwest Select Hockey Series

The Dallas Oilers are proud to announce that we will enter all of our 2012-13 teams into this year’s Southwest Select Hockey Series.  The Dallas Oilers intend to field AA/A teams at the Squirt, Peewee, Bantam, Midget minor and Midget major levels.

The format of the SWSHS offers balanced play throughout the season for all of our teams. The pre-scheduled tournament series will give our teams the flexibility to schedule additional games and tournaments in addition to the tournament series.  This will also allow our Bantam and Midget teams the opportunity to compete for State & National Championships.

We will be holding a parent meeting next week to answer any questions you may have regarding the Oilers or the SWSHS.
